VideoMoverPlus™, a vehicular video streaming software for Inmarsat BGAN and CDMA cell phone networks now supports Windows 2008 Server.

VideoMoverPlus™ custom software is result of dedicated Research and Development with continuous innovation over many years. This "software only" solution is highly versatile, flexible, and configurable and is developed based on Microsoft Windows Media Encoder, SilverLight SDKs. In response to Media professionals, Emergency Managers and other fast action video streaming over wireless networks, we added a high speed FTP module, an integrated Store and Forward, Picture capture and transmission and full support for CDMA and Inmarsat BGAN networks. We also added a world class bandwidth adjustment feature for wireless network monitoring and an automated frame rate adjustment. To build ChaserView conferencing we looked at the puzzle from a different perspective where no offshelf video compression is employed.

It is capable of working under extreme conditions using wired or wireless networks. It is currently used by diverse group of corporate or individual mobile professionals across the globe. From Storm chasers of mid westerns states in United States to Smokejumpers of North West or Emergency Managers of heartland or Oil and Gas explorers of North Africa, VideoMover or ChaserView software is an integrated part of day to day operations. Picture to the left is received in real time from Remote in color mode when the remote station is capable of maintaining an uplink speed of minimum 35k. The picture to right showing the same real time video in Sculpture™ mode when the Remote connection is no longer capable of sustaining the minimum uplink speed of 35k. When ChaserView™ detects less than 35k, the codec is automatically switches to black and white or Sculpture™ mode. (hover your mouse over picture on the right) The automatic video playback and - on the fly - adjustment feature is unique to ChaserView. Unlike other video rendering systems offered for real time connection, ChaserView can alter its video fabric from color video to a semi black & white laced with primary colors. Notice that while switching to a new layer of video, the algorithm is very successful in maintenance of facial expressions, highlights of face, body and objects surrounding the person - in real time - with no interruption of transmission or significant packet loss, a feature found in no other traditional video compression.

A typical H.2XX codec when encountering very low wireless bandwidth

Glossary:

VideoMoverPlus™

A computer software only product from iPixCel Software, LLC which is capable of transmitting video from remote to a receive computer using many different networks such as cable/DSL, ISDN T1, BGAN, CDMA, GPRS, Wi-Fi, Wi-MAX, Wi-Bro, Mobile-Fi, Fiber, etc.

ChaserView™

A complete video conferencing solution for Mobile OS devices such as PDA, Smart phones.

BGAN PipeManager™

A software feature built in with ChaserView mobile video conferencing to allow effective management of wireless bandwidth therefore -on-the fly- producing Sculpture™ video, black and white/gray scale video or full color video when encountering fluctuation with the wireless network. ChaserView codec is the only codec for mobile OS which currently offers this feature. The benefits to the consumer is better video conferencing results and much computationaly and financilly cheaper. A must have feature when using the expensive BGAN network

Sculpture™ Video:

The ability to change the color video - on-the-fly- to sculptur quality sequence of video images where the outline of face, eyebrows, lips, ears, hair style, eye glasses if any or any distinguishing feature will remain the same but in 4 color mode, when encountering bandwidth as low as 4800 baud - 30k. This feature is built in with ChaserView. Other codecs such will only produce a block of RGB colors with frozen frames when encountering severe fluctuations in the bandwidth.

VSAT

(Very Small Aperture Terminal) is a satellite communications system that serves home and business users. VideoMover supports the VSAT video streaming and video conferencing using VideoMover and iSOFT-VC software components.

BGAN

Broadband Global Area Network, a wireless network with global coverage from www. inmarsat.com. VideoMover supports the network

CDMA

Code Division Multiple access - A method for transmitting simultaneous digital signals over a shared portion of the spectrum. In the United States of America, Sprint and Verizon wireless are using the CDMA network with large footprint in most major cities and states in USA. VideoMover supports the CDMA network for live video streaming from inside a moving vehicle for fast action streaming events such as news, weather events, and much much more.

ENCODING

Video encoding is the process of taking an analog video signal from any camera (or digital signal) and by feeding the signal to a PC while running VideoMover, the signal is captured, ENCODED in digital format and transmitted all at the same time. A DECODING process at the receive station, all in software format - then play back the live or stored content on a PC. This process is automated by VideoMover software.

Motion Compensation

Motion compensation is the process of applying effects and measurements to counter the effects of fast action video encoding while driving at the highway speed.

Bandwidth adjustment

Process of adjusting the frame per second (fps) rates of video (1-30 fps) with available bandwidth. The more bandwidth available, the better frame rate.

BurstVideo

A feature built into VideoMover which is capable of acquiring a video sequence from the camera, slicing the video into very small CHUNKS and then transmit the CHUNKS over a network to a destination. An equally smart software component will receive the CHUNKS and dynamically RE-STITCH the chunks back together, reconstructing the original video in to a file. The main use of this transfer method is to access, at the receive station - "enough chunks" to constitute a FRAME of video, thus available for immediate playback. A much higher quality video can be burst to a receive decoder in near real time when compared to STORE and FORWARD feature forcing the user to WAIT for the entire file to download before playback. BurstVideo is a practical way of sending high quality footage over BGAN where price per minute cost live video streaming may be prohibitive.

Store & Forward video

A feature built - in with VideoMover capable of recording high quality video, store the video based on a given interval such as 10,20,50 seconds (or more), then placing the video file in a pool of files to be transmitted in an orderly fashion to a receive station where a PlayList program - bundled with VideoMover - is awaiting its arrival for download, archive and playback as needed.

Customizable Skins

A feature built-in with VideoMover capable of changing the interface "look and feel" with different colors and backgrounds to match other computer programs if needed or for better identification of software, a cosmetic feature popular with computer operators.

iLIVE

A computer program bundled with VideoMover capable of intercepting a live streaming feed from BGAN, CDMA equipped terminals transmitting video via VideoMover software. iLIVE is also capable of recording the live stream as it is playing it back to the computer screen.

PlayList

A computer program bundled with VideoMover capable of playing a central depository role to accumulate video clips, pictures and live feed all under one interface ready to be mixed and played back for an audience based on time, date, user name, etc.

QoS

Quality of service, where a direct connection from a satellite earth station is provided to a receive station, bypassing the public Internet pool, therefore increasing the efficiency and decreasing the latency of signal arrival, a method to receive video and data from remote in a more speedy and secure way.
