Watch samples of KWTV crew out and about "sending" video LIVE while on the move using iPixCel VideoMover technology.
Recorded Live from KWTV9, and posted here as sample footage.
Right click on the link and Save As to a folder. These files are posted on the web in Media Player format. Download and point your Media Player or Real Player to its location. They are posted at high bit rate and all four have audio tracks. Both BGAN and CDMA wireless networks are used.
VideoMoverPlus™ custom software is at the heart of this operation. A rugged truck or Hummer (above) is equipped with a rugged notebook such as Panasonic toughbook or Dell rugged notebooks. This notebook is then equipped with CDMA EVDO Rev1 network access & Inmarsat BGAN satellite device shown above. Both networks are used by VideoMoverPlus™ software based on availability. CDMA network has a limited coverage but BGAN coverage is all over the planet earth! while on the move!.
Our one pass encode/transmit software uses a new state-of-the-art methodology to send smooth video from eye of a camera - mounted on the dash - back to a receive computer in the studio. Simple operation of STOP and START is the only navigation keys available to the operator/driver due to concern for the safety of the driver. For more information and trial version of VideoMoverPlus™, please contact iPixCel, LLC via email at: support@ipixcel.org or call (405)-414-7791.

Specifications:
VideoMoverPlus™ is a software only solution built for vehicular transmission, although it can be used with stationary portable satellite devices such as BGAN, LAN, Fiber, Wi-Fi, CDMA, ISDN, T1 and other land based or satellite devices & networks. If you intend to use the system while mobile - and driving - at highway speed, then you need either a BGAN satellite or CDMA network account, a notebook (Windows XP SP2), camera, vehicular tripod, vehicular desk and an evaluation copy of VideoMoverPlus™ to start transmitting video while mobile. For your studio, (receive station), you also need a PC desktop (Windows XP SP2), Internet access. Your incoming video will be intercepted by an IP and your ENG team can convert the VGA signal to NTSC for on-air material. We have worked out the all the issues of transmitting video from mobile platforms such as high motion compensation, bandwidth probing & estimation, IP tracking, UDP transmission, automatic device configuration, wireless bandwidth fluctuation & counter effect measurements, full automation of the user interface, touch screen interface, QoS issues, etc.
We are a group of dedicated, skilled and focus team of software engineers dedicated to wireless video transmission over BGAN, CDMA, GPRS, GSM, Wi-Max. Our R&D and development offices are in Oklahoma City, OK.
